A ladder rack that works with a tonneau cover

The Hauler Rack is available in two convenient sizes. One size fits most smaller trucks such as Ford Rangers, Chevy S1os and Colorados, and older Toyota Tacomas. The other size available is made to fit full and midsize trucks, which would be Ford F Series, GMC Sierra, Chevy Silverados, Dodge Rams and Dakotas, and Toyota Tundras. The unique design of the legs and crossbars allow for many adjustments so that various truck widths can be accommodated.

The rack comes partially assembled for you and the rest can be easily assembled and bolted together in no time using normal hand tools.

A great combination! Its interior tonneau cover rail and a luggage rack

You’ll admire the bright anodized finish and appreciate the fact that, unlike cheap steel ladder brackets, the Hauler won’t stain your entire truck with rust. The Hauler Rack comes complete with several load stops that will come in handy when transporting ladders and lumber. With ladder stops and a bit of rope or ratchet straps, you’ll be able to safely secure cargo to your roof rack. Due to the heavy duty construction of Hauler Racks, you will be able to carry up to 800lbs of cargo on the rack.

The best feature of the Hauler roof rack is that this particular roof rack comes equipped with mounting feet that have been specially manufactured to allow the use of almost any soft top “inside the rail”.

Many of the top selling tonneau covers such as the Truxedo, Access, Extang or Tonno Pro use an “in-rail” mount and the roof rack can be installed and retain the function of the tonneau cover. Some hard tonneau covers can also be accommodated with little or no modification. As long as your truck cover is installed “inside the rail”, there’s a good chance you can get the Hauler Rack to work with it.

Need another reason for this rack? Keep in mind that on many truck frames the legs actually extend above the crossbars, effectively shortening the length of the crossbars, which then limits the amount of usable space by several inches. Well, the folks at Hauler found it unacceptable to give up that amount of cargo-carrying space, and they found a way to attach the Hauler’s legs to the bottom of the crossbar without losing valuable space.

Well there you have it, many good reasons to choose a Hauler Rack today.
