A Summary of “Cinderella” – John Mortein

John Mortein

John Mortein is a famous play written by John Locke. It is the second most popular of his plays, just behind Say Come Home. The play is set in the early part of the 17th century, when the two most famous characters, John and Patrick, are brought to the island of Jacaca. There, they end up becoming friends with some locals who become their wardens, or housekeepers. The locals are called the town folk.

The story starts with John and Matrick as strangers in a strange town, where they are forced to work as warders for the poor. They soon become friends with a local called Sir Charles, who teaches John the basics of fighting and farming. Eventually the two manage to free their names from their ‘house’ and become the most powerful landowners in the area, based on their association with a pretty but not very intelligent at. John and Matrick also get into quarrels with other local landowners over things like water and the local rose trees. The result is that the people begin to believe that all the men are one; while the women are constantly trying to prove they are smarter than the men.

Eventually, the two begin plotting to free themselves from the control of the locals and set off to find John and convince him to return to England. When they find him, however, they learn that he has been dead for several years. As luck would have it though, John’s ghost appears and takes John back to the present, where he is welcomed back by his old friend Sir Thomas chamberlains. However, before he can enter the house, he gets trapped in a barrel along with some barrels containing acid, which eats away at his flesh and turn him into an ugly skeleton.

A Summary of “Cinderella” – John Mortein

Luckily, John is restored to life by the hands of a knight called Sir Richard Elyot, and he teams up again with his friend m. Thomas to help them fight the Witch of the East. Although they succeed in defeating the evil witch, she still wins back her master, Adullion. Now however, she has to pay to return to her rightful place, because the people of the south have become wary of her coming back. But when she does, they find her locked in a tower, wearing only a loincloth. They think she might be dead, and are about to use a potion to make her go bad when their guide, Dorothy chamberlaine appears. She then transforms into Elphira, who is said to be the most beautiful woman in the world.

John and m. Thomas now find themselves back in the Stone Age, where they meet the duke of Gloucester, who is bent on capturing Anna. If John and Thomas do not get ready first, they will miss out on seeing a new prince named Elyot, who is rumored to be the next in line for the throne. So when the two men finally agree to help each other, they race off to confront the duke, but before they reach him, Anna gets kidnapped and taken to a remote island where only Alice can rescue her. Before she knows it, John and Thomas are stranded on the island with only a boat and a loincloth. They manage to make it back to land though, and John and Thomas swim towards their ship, but before they can leave, the duke uses his potions on them, turning them into giantesses.

Eventually, they manage to reach safety, and John and Thomas become friends. The duke teaches John everything that he needs to know about being a prince, while also teaching him how to be a good leader. Meanwhile, Anna makes John realizes that he should always remember that beauty is not evil, and that his greatest strength is his kindness. When he realizes that his loincloth was not what he needed to protect her, he apologizes to her, but she replies that she is not prepared to be a princess forever. This movie might be the best one of them all.
