People looking for accredited online law schools in the US would have a hard time finding one. This is because there are no reputable web-based law schools in the country. Due to various reasons, the American Bar Association does not accredit online law schools.

However, this does not mean that an online law degree is not useful for practicing law. The state of California allows students who have completed a sufficient number of classes at unaccredited online law schools to sit for the bar exam. However, all other states in the US allow only law graduates from accredited law schools to take the bar exam. Law graduates from California Internet law schools may also occupy an attorney position in other states once they have practiced law in California for five to seven years.

Concord offers two online programs: Juris Doctor (JD) and Executive Juris Doctor (EJD). Concord’s online JD degree is a four-year part-time program. Graduates of this degree program can apply for admission to the State Bar of California. The EJD online program is a three-year part-time program that provides a core of required courses and then offers students the option of choosing a course of study tailored to their needs.
