Britain’s Got Talent brings a boy from Britain into the spotlight who suffers from autism and performs commendably on stage that can leave you speechless. Autism currently has no cure and children suffering from autism have difficulty connecting and socializing with people. But this 10-year-old Calum Courtney from Essex, UK, can show you that you can create wonders with your talent.

1. Calum’s melodious performance.

When a child with autism walks in front of so many people, the basic question arises that he may be nervous. Social fear is the most prominent symptom of autism for children. After Calum entered, the judges asked him if he was nervous about performing in front of a crowd. Calum answered the question with a ‘no’ without thinking calmly and in his sweet voice. The judges were concerned and hardly convinced by the boy’s response. By showing his true talents to the world with his melodious singing, he cleared everyone’s doubts. The judges were so moved by the performance that they had to stand up to appreciate Calum’s talent.

After the end of the song, the judges were moved by the boy who received a standing ovation from them and the audience was pleased and clapping for Calum’s singing talent. Judge Simon Cowell ended up saying some remarkable words for the boy and even gave him two thumbs up. Judge David Williams said that Calum should be proud of himself for the absolutely brilliant performance he gave and for choosing such an important song. Hearing the thanks from the judges, Calum couldn’t control his tears and his little brother came up on stage to give him a hug. Amanda Holden said that the beautiful reaction she saw on stage was the greatest, especially when they are ten years old.

Calum’s mother says that autism is like a blessing for his music. She sure can have trouble socializing, but in the case of music, she knows very well how to connect with people. Calum’s decision to be on Britain’s Got Talent was obviously based on his love of music. Calum has already made a public appearance at a local ASDA store. The footage went viral on YouTube, earning it 2 million views. With his beautiful voice, Calum has also appeared in UK newspapers. Calum’s mom says that Calum loves to hear the sound of music and he’s never afraid to sing in front of people.
