Dark chocolate covered almonds

Today I bought some dark chocolate covered almonds at the grocery store. You know, the ones in the bulk containers. Customers think they are the “natural foods” from the supermarket. At least that, as consumers, we have been led to believe. However, they are not gluten or dairy free. And the dark chocolate covered almonds were not made with Ghirardelli or Lindt chocolate.

But that is another story.

These tasty treats are a Cuppa Joe’s delight. I prefer to drink Peet’s African Uzuri mix. They bring out the dark forest fruit flavor of roasted beans. The coffee brands that I like are Starbucks, Peet’s, and Tulley’s Coffee. Every now and then I opt for the Seattle’s Best Coffee brand.

But anyway …

So I’m drinking the ol Joe and munching on these almonds. And lo! I had an epiphany. The mega-bulb appeared above my head. It was a bright 100 watt light bulb. I reached out and pulled the chain. Actually, I put my sunglasses on, I took off my shirt. Hey, I wanted to get a tan. No, not really.

An epiphany means: a sudden and intuitive perception or understanding of the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, home or common event or experience.

The epiphany was with the coffee and the chocolate covered almond. You get the two separate foods with different flavors separate together. Coffee and chocolate bring out the best in another.

Think about that for a moment …

They both have caffeine components. Each has its own power of influence. There are four sections in your language. All together they find the bitter, salty and bittersweet of those sections.

Then apart from this you get a harsh crunch from the almond. Chewing the almond gives you the impact or vibration on the nerves of your mouth and head. I think chocolate predominates over almonds. That’s my opinion. They have influenced me in the other direction. There is a key ingredient of salt in chocolate.

Caffeine gives your brain euphoria. Caffeine gives you a feeling of clarity. It also makes you rush. Most coffee drinkers add a sweetener like sugar to remove the bitter taste. Also, they can add milk and various sweet flavors. I’ve seen people add a pinch of salt. Coffee leaves a sour aftertaste. Try talking to a coffee drinker and they will want to give you a mint or gum.

Chocolate hits the taste of sweetness on your tongue. However, dark chocolate has a bitter touch, respectively.

All this joint power gives your head and sense of flavor a boost!

It’s similar to a baseball batter hitting you over the head without a headache, the sweetness of kissing a pretty girl you like, and a jolt of energy all together.

But that’s not my point …

My point is this, partner with others who you want to become. When you do this, the best of you and the best of others brings out the best. You and others will have an impact on each other, the people around you, and the world.
