Final Thoughts on the 2007 NASCAR Season Finale

So now that the drivers fifth and above in the points standings have been mathematically eliminated, the remaining 4 as of Phoenix are:

Kyle Busch in fourth, Clint Bowyer in third, Jeff Gordon in second and Jimmie Johnson in first.

There’s been a lot of emphasis on Johnson and Gordon, and people wonder if Jeff will be
able to catch up with only 1 race left. I don’t know if it will or not, and I wonder more
if this last race for the first place of the year will be fairly contested between the 2. Despite Gordon
go to Victory Lane and concede the championship to Johnson, I really have to
say that I don’t think he meant it. I know you want it just as bad, if not
more than Jimmy. Whatever the truth, I think we’re in for an amazing grand finale.
Ce weekend.

And apparently more interesting is the dispute for the third and fourth place.
between Clint Bowyer and Kyle Busch. Clint has held steady in 3rd place throughout
the Hunt, but now someone else wants it. As previously stated, Kyle is not looking.
to win the championship, but to give Mr. H a 1-2-3 HMS finish at Homestead. That
way for him to make a sortie out of HMS. If we don’t see a lot of action on the 24th and 48th
fighting each other, you can almost count on Kyle Busch to give it his all. and we all know
that Kyle has no problem doing it his way. I predict a foot of lead and a tunnel vision of
Dear Kyle. And he would have no other way.

Thanks for a great and crazy season guys. I look forward to 2008.
