NASCAR Tracks – Kansas Speedway

Kansas Speedway features expansive views from every seat and easy access in and out of the 1 1/2-mile state-of-the-art facility. It was built in response to the growing interest in motorsports entertainment in the Midwest. Kansas Speedway cannot accept or be responsible for third party Will Call. There are no unclaimed ticket cancellations, refunds or changes at Will Call. Kansas Speedway is adjacent to two interstate highways and an excellent network of state and local highways. In addition, the road infrastructure built to move traffic in, out of, and around the facility includes more than 55 lane miles of highway.

It was built in the summer of 1999 and contains 32 luxury suites. In 2000, NASCAR announced that Kansas Speedway would host the following races in 2001, Indy Racing League – July 8, 2001, NASCAR Busch Series – September 29, 2001, and NASCAR Winston Cup Series – September 30, 2001. This brought much fame and publicity to this beautiful track.

Kansas Speedway is one of the newest tracks on the NASCAR circuit, but it’s building a reputation as one of the best. At 1.5 miles of trioval challenge, NASCAR racers have to be on their toes to win this track. The Kansas Speedway road course would allow the road course to host additional races and events throughout the year, and would be only the second active road course in the state of Kansas.

The track seats almost 82,000 spectators in the stands, but will eventually expand to 150,000 when the final phase of development is complete. The facility has very fan-friendly access to 65 rows of seats, with a wonderful ground-level concourse that allows spectators to walk down 30 rows or up 35 rows. The Hard Rock Hotel Casino, which would be located at Turn 2 of the Kansas Speedway with great visibility and access to both Interstate 70 and Interstate 435, will bring a distinctive and energetic destination gaming and entertainment experience to Wyandotte County and establish the area as one of the main sports and leisure destinations in the country.

Ticket inventory is continually updated, so check back often or give us a call if the seats you want are not available. Kansas Speedway ticket orders are typically processed within 24 hours (Monday-Friday) of when they are placed. If the race is within 72 hours, call to make special delivery arrangements. You can call Kansas City Speedway or log on to their website for tickets and information.

Kansas Speedway is great if you can get tickets to see some of the races. What a fantastic trip to take with your family or friends to this one-of-a-kind exclusive track. With the exciting twists and turns of the course, you’ll be sure to be on the edge of your seats with excitement. Refrigerators, cameras and camcorders are allowed, so seize the day, camp out and enjoy the fantastic races staged at this pristine track. Make sure you bring ear plugs because it gets very loud.
