Casinos and hotels organize parties and special events for which places are sold out days or months before the actual occasion. The fireworks that begin to count down to midnight are a brilliant burst of colors that light up the sky. When the sun sets on the eve, the Strip opens to the public who can explore the Strip and watch the fireworks from different vantage points.
