On the second day of your getaway, you can start by visiting the beautiful sights of the eastern region of the island. These consist of the Monastery of San Agustín and the Retiro. You can then continue west and go around the island. You may want to spend some time visiting the Commonwealth Brewery or even the Bacardi Distillery. You can then return to Nassau.

Stop at Arawak Cay for a quick native-style lunch. You can then continue on and stop to see the Nassau Botanical Gardens, Fort Charlotte, or the Ardastra Gardens and Conservation Center. The Conservation Center is home to the famous marching flamingos. You should have a great time visiting one or all three of these fantastic places. Now, when you’re done there, if you have any energy left, you can dance the night away at one of the local clubs or go see a dazzling show put on by one of the resorts.

On the last day of your mini-vacation you can spend the day on Paradise Island. On Paradise Island you can wander around the Atlantis resort. Go ahead and visit the incredible 3-mile long Cabbage Beach or the beautiful Paradise Beach. You can also try spending a few minutes in the enchanting Gardens of Versailles.

So if you still have some energy left and are looking for something fun to do, water sports abound.

Nassau offers the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. At Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Encounter near Cable Beach, you can stand waist-deep in a secluded pool of water and play with the trained dolphins. If you wish, you can put on your snorkeling equipment and go swimming with them.

Can you imagine the face of your friends and family when you tell them that you swam with dolphins? If they don’t believe you, you can take your vacation photos and prove it to them.

Or if you prefer, you can spend the rest of your time relaxing on the beach.
