Craigslist, Backpage and Isis Classifieds

As most of us who are already familiar with internet marketing know that classified ads sites are a very effective way to market your business online or offline. The fact that it’s free and gets tons of views every day makes it a perfect choice for marketers who aren’t trying to spend a lot of money to get the word out about their business. Of course, everyone has heard of Craigslist. Craigslist is a great option to market to because of the millions of people who visit the site every day. However, sometimes Craigslist can be a pain in the butt. On Craigslist, everyone is seen as a spammer until proven otherwise. It can get very frustrating for those of us who aren’t spammers but just trying to market honestly.

Backpage.com is another very popular site. It also gets a decent amount of traffic, especially in the business opportunities section. My only fear for Backpage is that I see them more and more like Craigslist in the near future with all the rules they are instituting. It is also getting very difficult and frustrating at times to post trades there.

Isisclassifieds.com is what I have found to be a great alternative to Craigslist and Backpage. It hasn’t gotten to the point yet of having millions of visitors per day, but as a result they don’t see it as guilty until proven innocent. I try to market in all three as much as possible to create some balance in my marketing. There are certain things I love and don’t like about these three sites, but when I compare them to all the other classifieds sites, these are definitely my top three. Isis has a really simple login process. They also have a great option for you to upload videos for people to actually see what you are marketing as well as google maps on the same page.

Isisclassifieds.com, Backpage.com, and Craigslist have developed a pretty good model of the most effective way to help online marketers grow their concept. I support all three of these sites even though there is a lot of room for all three to improve. But at the end of the day they are Free and that is the important thing. I just wanted to express my opinion on the subject because I see many people raising other ranked sites that are not half as decent as these.
