How to draw a baby stroller

Baby strollers, also called buggy, are baby carriers for babies generally up to the age of 3 years. Adults drive these cars to facilitate the transportation of children. The history of baby carrier use dates back to 1889, when William Richardson patented his idea for the first reversible stroller. Today many innovative and stylish baby strollers are available in different sizes and models, which are both functionally and aesthetically pleasing.

Required art tools:

-Pencil

– Eraser

– Paper or canvas

– Colors and brush (optional)

Steps to draw a baby stroller:

First draw your pram with light pencil strokes, so that unwanted lines can be erased later, if necessary.

– Baby basket: Let’s start our capture with the baby basket of a stroller. Draw a parallelepiped such that the longest edge of the basket extends into the drawing surface. Keep only the visible borders and erase everything behind them. Increase the thickness of the margins of this basket to indicate the frame. This frame will rest on top of the main frame of the stroller.

– Basic structure: Includes the metal/plastic frame that supports the baby’s basket, the handle and the wheels. Draw two long parallel lines that run diagonally across the longest edges of the baby basket. The upper end of these lines can be curved to form an inverted ‘U’, which represents the handles. To each of these lines, connect another so that it forms an inverted ‘Y’. Join the arms of the upside down ‘Y’ to form a triangle on each side of the stroller and draw a circle at the bottom vertex of the two triangles to represent the wheels.

– Hood: Draw a large upside down ‘U’ at an angle such that the end of this curve touches the two long parallel lines at its center. Form another upside down ‘U’ of the same curvature slightly above the first with the ends meeting the first curve. Shade the area between the two curves to complete the hood.

– Shading: Erase unwanted lines with an eraser and darken the others with the help of a pencil. Shading can be done properly to give the stroller a realistic look. Pick a color scheme for your stroller and tint it.
