WeCutFoam introduces a new product, a combined 2D vinyl wrapped foam sign with 3D objects

WeCutFoam, manufacturer of custom letters, signs, accessories and displays, is pleased to announce the expansion of its product line to include additional vinyl wrapped signs with embedded 3D objects. The company is now printing large prints of adhesive patterned vinyl by wrapping them around pieces of foam and then gluing three-dimensional objects and accessories on top. Thus, it offers a combination of labels, letters and logos with outstanding objects.

The company has purchased a large-format printer that can print adhesive vinyl up to 80 inches wide with patterns and designs that can be adhered to foam boards and foam pieces. These are designs that are difficult or impossible to paint by hand, with vivid colors and intricate patterns. Three-dimensional objects, which are machined on CNC milling machines, are glued inside the wrapped foam and, when protruding, turn any 2D product into a 3D one. Flat signs and lettering are undergoing a “facelift” updated to a more vivid product.

Production Manager Francisco Flores believes that the added product and service is aligned with the company’s mission to bring more innovations and cost-effective yet artistic solutions to its customers. “There are so many amazing things that can be accomplished with a wide-format printer that we couldn’t have done or manufactured before we had this equipment. Not only can we print vinyl wrap on a large scale and wrap it in foam to create signage, but we can also attach other artifacts and materials to it to make it seem alive and real,” says Francisco.

This add-on product will primarily benefit branded companies looking to promote their brand, businesses looking to make a strong professional statement at the entrance of their facility, organizations looking to create unique and different sign statements for trade shows and conferences or any business that is looking to stand out from the crowd by having an attractive piece of art as its focal point. It’s also a low-cost decorating solution for store windows, as the signs are less expensive than creating a full-scale fixture, but maintain the qualities of the fixture within a flat-surfaced sign.

WeCutFoam offers custom foam cutting, machining, prototyping and coating services. The company specializes in manufacturing large-scale fixtures, large letters, sculptures, dimensional signs, LED signs, museum displays, prototypes and artwork, and now vinyl signs and logos.
